A wonderful film about a space colony using humans as disposable test subjects. We follow Mickey 17, a clone that was thought to have been dead running into a future version of himself.
Bong Joon-Ho explores themes of humanism, agency, sexuality and identity. We see great performances from Pattinson, Ackie, Collette, and Ruffalo.
I had a great time seeing this!
Half baked, strange pacing, and overall left me slightly disappointed. Some gruesome kills but still had me wanting (expecting) more by the time the credits rolled.
I do want to see Theo James take on more comedic roles.
I love satirical films with a little bite to them and Companion definitely delivered. This could pass for a Black Mirror episode sprinkled with just enough humor to lighten the mood - because when this movie goes there, it goes there.
Sophie Thatcher was great in my first exposure to her but Harvey Guillen stole the show.
Oh my god how/why did I skip this the first time around. Way better than Part I!
