I seem to have a thing for narratives that surround themes of mother and son, personally having gravitated to creating a project on my own relationship with my mama.
For me, I am deeply moved by powerful women. The quiet bravery that reside within mothers, acts of courage within the smallness. I love how the film explores might within the feminine.
A tear jerker. Climaxing in the final act with muted cathartic release, under written with swelling themes. Stripped back, long shots of humanness.
