Wicked is a wonderfully whimsical film as a prequel to the Wizard of Oz franchise, giving a greater understanding to that the Wicked Witch and the Good Witch.

Elphie stands as a metaphor for the "other"; a being so different from the rest, green skin and great power, she is cast aside. I found Elphie's character to be the most appealing in that sense, that despite her difficulty she continues to be good even though no one sees it.

I definitely feel that the movie needs a second part; to which I am excited for how Elphie and Glinda's relationship will grow.

Stunning visuals, set design and cinematography; some of the acting feels a little forced at moments however it was filmed in the 1970s; however Carrie's timid manner is acted out so well that it leaves me the viewer feeling uncomfortable. You can tell a lot of thought was put into the making of the film and it shows, the red is very important to this movie and you can tell.

Stephen King is a fucking weirdo though why was the intro nearly 7 straight minutes of naked high school girls shot in a weirdly artsy-pornographical way.

Absolutely phenomenal

Its such a unique perspective on parasocial relationships and tied with the resemblance to real-life people it makes it so much more hard hitting.
