The Warriors 1979
I’ve always wanted to watch this movie bc of its premise of a gang trying to go home. Every encounter with a rival gang is almost monster of the week-esque. Female lead’s desire for a better life was really well handled, especially in a specific scene involving kids who were living the life she wanted. Her quiet piercing eyes.
The action scenes are great, each kick and punch is hefty. A great showcase of 80’s action.
