  I can’t believe i’ve only now watched this for the first time ever. People grew up on this and it is a beloved classic. As an introduction to Studio Ghibli, it is incredible, I cannot wait to see more. How one can tell such a beautiful story in only two hours, such a fleshed out world and characters blows my mind. It’s just beautiful and especially when you understand the deeper meanings and things it alludes to about society - it’s just great. 🙌
