The entire film is based on Aronofsky's The Wrestler. The story is predictable, offers nothing new, piles up clichés based on misery. A typical mediocre Eastern European film.

Családi sztorink, hogy a film előkészületi munkálatai során Jancsó meglátogatta Édesapámat az irodájában, hogy adjon a Duna Televízió pénzt egy készülő filmjére. Apukám ismerve Miki bácsit, adott egy akkori mértékben nem is kicsi összeget, amit a rendező úr nagy halálkodás közepette meg is köszönt.
Az ezt követő hónapokban Grunwalsky is többször megkereste Édesapámat és állandóan újabb pénzeket próbált követelni olyan címszóval, hogy "éhhalálon van a stáb".
A végeredményt elnézve úgy tűnik valakinek cateringnek leszámlázva lett egy-két új autója vagy egy új lakása Belpesten.
A nézhetetlenség határát súrolja ez a a nyolcvan percnyi szellemi vesztőhely.

The Godfather Part II 1974
In its complexity and story, it is even stronger than the first part. Its linearity and storytelling are incredibly impressive. The quantity, diversity and network of relations between the characters present a complex structure that can provide maximum satisfaction to an experienced film lover, but it is no means a "feel good movie".

Life on the Hortobagy 1936
The forgotten father of western movies. From a technical and historical perspective, this work by Georg Höllering served as the basis for many later highly succesful films. The camera shots remind me of Sergio Leone's western movies, and the presentation of the industrialization of the countryside brings to life the foundations of There Will Be Blood and the Killers of the Flower Moon, all decades before the mentioned works.
