  Excellent cast, rushed movie, lackluster script. This film could've been an hour longer and it likely would've been better, if super over-budget.

  The soundtrack is excellent and if you're into hard science fiction novels, the book is better than the film.

  Not even weed could make this good. They telegraph so much in this movie that they lean into it by making a film whose basis can be explained in a single telegram.

  Fun fact, the average length of a telegram in 1900s America was 11.93 words. And just like that, I ruin a joke and inform you at the same time.

  They updated the storm nerd crew for the YouTube generation and they’re led by Joe the Plumber.

  Honestly didn’t have a single character I was really rooting for and the movie was a little too long, but hey, Glen Powell’s doing a better job than Armie Hammer would have.
