I love that despite being superhero movies, this trilogy embraces tragedy, romance, loss beauty, guts, drugs, guns, and moral grays. I adored getting to see Harvey Dent and watch an origin story for two-face emerge. I was fired up and excited to see more two-face after this movie but am still patiently waiting for that. Watching Batman choose to save Harvey Dent was painful, causing him to lose his lover and for the sake of the city and endangering it more anyway. The relationships, the repeated phrases changing meaning, the images, gorgeous.
