The first thing that strikes me about this film is the eerieness of the opening and closing scenes. Particularly the opening I felt I was on alert. The film reminds me a lot of American Beauty, as it explores and delves into the complexities of adult life. I appreciated the simplicity of the shooting and the philosophical conversations. I also agree that the ending was great and thought provoking. It allows you to make your own conclusions on what happen and follows a similar pattern as the first. I also liked how it stayed to structure timing wise.
