  I actually really enjoyed this. Not amazing, but, "grand" Irish folkloric horror/comedy. Love those little Redcap fuckers. The third act is where it's all at.
  Also, this was way more shit than an expecting mother should have to go through, essentially performing that same role for her husband the whole time as well, but the film acknowledges that throughout in a satisfyingly self-aware way. The fairy tale shift halfway through in cinematography and tonal deviation is also highly effective, mostly…
