  Babygirl! I wanted to LOVE you. I splurged on that $19.99 rental, unashamed, and I can’t say I wouldn’t do it again- but damn. You have me on my knees begging for something deeper. I need to watch Secretary.

  Naomi Scott is a star- a quadruple threat. Park Finn’s tonal change from Smile 1 to 2 is impressive and necessary for this glitzy, dark, hyper-real stage. This film spits in the face of “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it.”

  Top tier portrayal of the fear of being alone in a parking lot at night with a strange man. Give Anna Kendrick her flowers, because this was a fantastic directorial debut. I thought the pace and time jumping was great, but I wanted… more? I do recognize more story would probably mean more screen time for the murderer and I think the biggest strength of this film is it’s  focus on the victims. Their perspectives are palpable and honest.

  I loved the visuals, particularly when a patron comes out of the gas station and as the camera pans we see the car door ajar. 🤌
