  watching the entire godard catalogue after gregg araki couldn’t stop raving about how much he was inspired by him in all his interviews i watched, and HOLY FUCK does it show. this is strikingly similar to the doom generation in pace and overall story structure, some major differences here and there but essentially the same vibe (imagine doom generation without X)
