Enjoyable film overall, but in terms of objective quality, it falters a bit more. They really go all-in on it being a similar event to the first one, having multiple scenes playfully mimic and/or straight up copy scenes from the first film. genuinely a great movie. it’s not seen as a cinematic masterpiece by a lot, but seriously… why not? the action is great, the interactions through walkie-talkies is genius. and while there are a lot of special effects, most of the most has amazing cinematography. there are few action movies that compare in my eyes.
