I'm surprised that it took me so long to stumble across this one. The acting was fantastic - the story lives up to the title, and it is superbly shot and directed. Strongly recommended for fans of the titular genre.

This miniseries had so many opportunities to disappoint - I went into this viewing experience (having seen most of King's other foray's into TV Land where his brand of earnest Americana just doesn't stand up) just waiting for the moment it turned too silly, boring, preachy or cheesy. But, lo and behold, one good scene rolled into another, the story kept chugging along artfully paced, the acting was good and in some cases better than good. When the credits rolled I found myself wanting to start a slow clap. Four stars for Linoge.
