Not sure if it was the best way to take a break from studying to finals but it was cool. The very international way of how these characters were acting and the dialogue between them was very unnerving and honestly the best part of the movie. Very stacked cast and unique plot, shout out Barry Keoghan.

Buffalo '66 1998
Not gonna sugar-coat it, it’s kinda ass. But there are definitely some pros. I think the experimental and low budget-ness of it has a charm along with Layla’s character which I thought was the best part of the movie. It definitely had some inspirational or aspects I definitely would take inspiration from if I were a filmmaker, but the plot, actions, and character dialogue was absolute shit and didn’t make any remote sense. Overall not really a great movie but there are some decent qualities that made it somewhat bearable. Shout out the costume design though for real. The hotel scenes were pretty cool.
