    Kizumonogatari Part 3: Reiketsu

    ★★★

This anime series is incredibly remarkable for simultaneously being some of the most impressive animation and dumbest fucking writing I've ever seen in my life.

I'm just not big on constantly sexualizing women. LIke I'm the first one to watch fucked up horny Pinku movies and trauma porn and all that problematic jazz, but it's just weird when it kinda tries to sell you on the wholesomeness of it. It's hard to explain as I'm a very big fan of…

Some of the most impressive animations and directing I've ever seen in my anime-watching life, but fundamentally meandering and also occasionally pedophiliac and rapey. Such a disappointment, what with these great characters. This is because of a phenomenal use of CGI. The entire film is 3D,…

nothing is comparable to this feeling of overwhelming loneliness and strange sense of comfort that always comes with watching the most obscure shit in like 240p at 2am

This is cute, abstract and nostalgic as fuck. Sadly, a bit too happy-abstract for me to really get into it. But it's not like anyone but fellow fans of old short anime OVAs will watch this, and, y'all, you already know what's up.
