  Hashtag odd couple road trip coming of age manic pixie dream cousin dialogue heavy Oscar bait.

  I dug:
  -both leads; I hated that I related to Eisenberg’s character, though. Nobody wants to be the awkward stick in the mud, least of all awkward sticks in mud.
  - the piano soundtrack and how it met Culkin’s character in the middle, actually playing the piano. 
  -the way the concentration camp scene showed rather than told
  -surprise! Ferris Bueller’s sister as a divorcee
