  Solid 7.5 or 8/10 movie.

  Fantastic movie: I could watch this annually.

  Preface: I don't love or hate musicals and I didn't remember The Wizard of Oz's storyline (I confused it with Alice in Wonderland 😬😶‍🌫️).

  I really enjoyed the movie. I only checked my phone for the time once, which is a good sign since it is three hours long. I deducted a half point because I wasn't able to fully hear/understand all of the lyrics to every song (look at preface). Story was enjoyable, considering the preface. It was able to pull tears from me during one of the scenes.

  Very strong 8.5/10.

  Fantastic movie: Could watch this as a tradition once a year & I could easily watch this unprompted.

  Disclaimer: I watched this in IMAX, however, I don't think the experience added so much that it would sway my opinion.

  Easily a top 3 DreamWorks movie. I was literally bawling my eyes out throughout the movie. What a fantastic way to depict the unknowns of parenthood. I wish the ending was a bit expanded upon, and I think our connection to the main characters would have been stronger if there weren't timeskips. Super-duper recommend.

  7/10 movie.

  Good movie: I could re-watch this once a year prompted.

  Given the title of the movie and the description, one would assume this movie is about the US military vs. the Western Forces (Cali & Texas)... But it's not. It's about the perspective of news reporters during wartime.

  I'll keep my griefs with this movie short and vague since I'm not including spoilers in this review: I don't like the vagueness of certain parts and the lack of implications.
