Pulp Fiction 1994
Would've been five stars if not for the egregious amount of n bombs dropped, or rather thrown, in Sam Jackson's face no less and by Quentin himself? Also gay rape for the sake of it I guess. But overall brilliant in most aspects. Tarantino's dialogue remains unmatched in many ways. I love that he uses chapters, the way he reveals characters, the way he blocks, the colours, music, everything. It's always a heightened yet weirdly grounding (?) experience.
I was falsely led to believe Uma Thurman would be dominating the screen longer than she did but it's okay. I have Kill Bill to rewatch.

Inception 2010
My brother and I went to see this at a different cinema to the one we usually frequented back then. He miscalculated the time it would take to get there and also took a few wrong turnings, so we finally stumbled into the packed screening just as all hell was beginning to break loose in the opening sequence. The only available seats were at the very front, and the seating arrangement was some flat runway style set-up I'd never seen…
