Nosferatu 2024
I really appreciate what the camera allows you to see & what is left to the imagination. Sometimes it’s the slow rotation around a room. Others, it’s an omission of space altogether. It leaves a sense of unease about what is not being shown. Effectively disorienting.

I Saw the TV Glow 2024
This had been in my periphery as a 90s nostalgia film. It is so much more than that. You won’t find the museum-like artifacts of nintendo consoles and pogs. If you’ve ever wished a fiction were real, that reality is too far away, this is for you. There’s definitely a subtext of trans dysphoria that I could only feel from a distance, but I felt the sorrow. A beautiful piece of art that makes me remember why films are so important.
