  The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie 2024

  As a massive Looney Tunes fan and someone who  wants 2d animation to make a comeback, this film was an absolute delight. It was funny, heartwarming, and full of life. I hope the looney tunes never die out because we need movies like this now more than ever.

  Please do yourself a favor and (if you haven’t already) WATCH THIS MOVIE IN A THEATER! I promise it’ll be worth your while.

  I finished reading the book this week so I decided to finally go ahead and check this adaptation out and it was…quite the experience.

  I enjoyed the book and I’ve been really excited about watching this movie, especially considering the incredible cast, but this one failed to live up to my expectations.

  On rewatch I noticed some of the flaws (mostly the uneven pacing), but I’m just such a big fan of Wicked (and The Wizard of Oz in general) that I choose to overlook them. Movies like this just make my heart smile 🩷💚
