  Landscape in the Mist 1988

  This movie hit like a freight train of feels. Melancholic, gut-wrenching, like someone ripping out your heart and showing it to you. It’s so real yet has this theatrical, almost dreamlike that feels like you’re watching a tragic play unfold.

  By the end, I was a puddle of tears, completely shattered. The imagery is poetic, each frame a haunting piece of art. Some scenes are so brutal they’ll tattoo themselves on your soul. Just when you think you’re dead inside, this film comes along and wrecks you.

  One of the most beautifully heartbreaking films I’ve ever seen.
