  Girl next to me went on her phone any time anything sexual happened and then left 20 minutes before the movie ended. I truly am part of a generation of babies. 

  Anyway, rare for a movie to actually meet my stupidly high expectations, but I really enjoyed this. I think it’s fair to ask if this adaptation adds more that the others don’t have, but I think its increased emphasis on the female lead from the open of the film is enough to warrant its existence. 

  Not enough rats though. Like a quarter the amount of Herzog’s rats. And I didn’t really dig the voice.

  I am SHOCKED! SHOCKED I tell you! That this film has lukewarm reviews. You watched a goat like LIGHTNING MCQUEEN do his thing. Form lifelong friendships. Learn what racing was all about. And thought, “eh, not too great”. I am here to tell you that you are dead WRONG. This is as good as it gets and I feel sorry you can’t see that. 

  Maybe this is my nostalgia speaking, I did watch this at the premier at Charlotte Motor…
