  Very cute movie, overarching lesson was taught in a not-as-cheesy way. One of the characters was a bit frightening for children (even me as a 25 year old) but definitely not enough to keep my eyes closed.

  I love this film! Director Greta Gerwig does a wondrous job transitioning between time frames for smooth storytelling and the framing/movement of her shots are quite beautiful as well. Cast selected was so perfect for their roles, making it hard not to fall in love with each of their unique natures. The movie evoked a wide range of emotions in me (but in the best way possible) and I couldn’t help but feel like I was part of these little women’s lives if at least for a couple hours. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves a good coming-of-age period film.
