The Green Ray 1986
A surprisingly uncomfortable film. Like watching your worst teenage/mid-twenties insecurities and self-doubts personified and acted out on screen by an adult character. It’s certainly well observed, and apparently many people deeply relate to the protagonist. Personally, I found it all a bit exhausting, at times exasperating.
