    It’s so refreshing to see a) country queers represented on screen and b) a queer movie without queer pain.
    It feels striking and even a little bit healing to see images of Americana intermingling with queer bodies and culture.
    This film had so many meaningful bits and pieces of my past: commune & farm life, life in rural New Mexico, the culture of the Intermountain West, southwestern landscapes & big skies … yet all framed in triumphant queer surreality. 

    Yet another siren song calling for me to return to rural commune life 🥺
