  I think if they strip out all the dialogue and story, leave these visuals, and set the movie to a thumping house sound track they’ve got something here.

  This movie is so good. The setup is great and simple, the acting is high quality. The shots in it are great. There's very little to dislike in it.

  This one is advanced for the year it was made, way ahead of it's time.

  Peter Lorre's summation at the end of the movie is so well done it makes you suspend any disbelief at the circumstances under which he's giving it. It's an incredible performance.

  There are also devices in this like whistling being a tell that are excellent.

  There are elements in the dialogue and structure, that given the historic context, are very cutting. The mob demanding justice…
