This film is perfect science fiction. It fully brings to life Frank Herbert’s dream, and adds minor changes that, at least I think, more clearly show what Dune meant to him. Paul is not a hero, he is a power hungry dictator and this movie shows that very clearly. Frank Herbert disassembled his readers love of Paul Atreides in his sequels of Dune, challenging the dynamics of power, and Dune Part 2 helps show the audience this vision.

Dune 2021
Perhaps one of the greatest science fiction films I have ever seen. Frank Herbert’s masterpiece is brought to life and clearly the writers, prop-masters, set designers, editors, and the fantastic cast have all deeply studied this book. The movie rarely deviates from the book with minor changes here and there. The music is incredible and this is honestly some of the best CGI I’ve ever seen. Can’t wait to see the second one.
