  Very much liked the contrast between 2 natives and their perspective on foreign white men. Guide is able to see him as a good man, but the isolated one only sees him as his enemy, a force of greed (at least to begin with).

  Recognized the self-proclaimed "Jesus" figure to be very similar to "Fwi-Song" from "Consider Phlebas," a book I had read about a month before watching this movie.
