Going into this with no idea what to expect, the first 10 minutes had me thinking it was going in a completely different direction.
This film is peak #feminism though.
Despite being quite comedic, it still managed to address some very serious (and still relevant) societal issues in the most American way possible.
I can't rate this because this was so traumatic... I lost years of my life from the stress of this movie. Despite only being 1h15m, it felt like a lifetime. It genuinely broke me. I fear this has taken a toll on mine and Maddie's relationship. This is why I don't watch horror movies.
Absolute classic romcom. The poem always makes me cry.
