  I feel like I've been waiting my whole adult life for this movie, and it's finally here and worth the wait. This has to be the best musical to movie adaptation ever made.
  I think I was most impressed by Ariana Grande. Growing up a tomboy, fat, queer kid - I've always gravitated towards Elphaba as the outsider trying to find her place.
  But this movie and her performance found me connecting with Glinda on a new level.
  This was the first movie I didn't want to end in a long time, and I see myself watching this again many times in the near future.

  I think I've decided this is my favorite Pixar movie. This is clearly an allegory for queerness and I can't be convinced otherwise. It is beautifully written, feels light hearted and fun yet also full of wonder and joy. It makes me feel good and hopeful. I am so glad it's in theaters at last. Watching it felt nostalgic, like I was a kid in the 90s at the movies again.

  I don't know why I had the itch to watch this film again - it's just been on my mind. Everything about it is so iconic - the characters, the music, the quotes, the production... This film is fun in all the ways romanticizing pirates can be. Now pass me the rum!
