Is it some spoof of Alchemist where the entire world is conspiring for Raghavan’s success? Is anything shown in the movie remotely possible? Feels like a male fantasy - not only getting a great job with a great salary without a degree but keeps getting promoted over the deserved candidates, ex who’s not happy in her relationship because she broke up with him, friends who tolerate every shit he puts them through, a very rich and influential businessman who chooses him as his SIL without any background check…. And the list goes on!
Should I judge everyone who called this a good movie? 🫨
I want more of this 😭😭
What a cute movie 🥰 and this is why women should write and direct more 🎈
For any movie to work well, it’s important for us audience to root for the hero. But in kudumbasthan, I was never motivated to root for the hero because he brings everything on himself. He is not only stupid and irresponsible but is also arrogant and egoistic in ways that affects him terribly. In contrast, the anti-thesis of the hero - his brother-in-law emerges as a more relatable middle class person despite his shortcomings.
I might be wrong and might…
