  I didn't know I could hate a film that mixes live action and animation to this degree. For the record the animation is quite good, but the movie itself is...an exercise in boredom and frustration.

  Saw the trailer for this and enjoyed it. Later caught the last 20 minutes during a watch party and thought "oh that seemed like a fun movie". Was at a friend's house watching RLM's review and about 5 minutes into that, we decided to shut it off and watch the movie.

  I still don't really know how to describe this movie. It's going to require multiple viewings to fully analyze it, but it's probably my favorite movie of the decade.…

  This would be a 5/5 for me if the last act was as tight and methodical as the previous 120 minutes and if there weren't two (albeit well-acted) scenes where the character faces the camera and exposits the movie's social commentary that was otherwise conveyed organically and subtly at appropriate points.
