My first Tarkovsky movie, and I'm not sure how else to say this, but this is probably the best movie I have ever watched and definitely my favourite one. Haven't read any reviews or interpretations yet, and I won't even dare try writing one myself- just want to ruminate and be left alone with my thoughts - everyone else's opinions come after. I will say this, though: what an absolutely brilliant piece of cinema.
