This movie set my heart ablaze, later exploding me with an intense rage and fury. Loathing the injustice and cruelty shown towards harmless love. Not realizing that this movie was based on a true story until the very last moment I was pleased to find this story sparked the Italian Homosexual Rights Movement in 1980. As much as something positive came out of this beautiful, heart-wrenching story I can’t help but ask myself the question: Why does something vile like this…
