Quirky, cute, and funny. Edward is soft spoken and sweet, played well by Johnny Depp. It's a bit comical seeing the gothic and dark castle atop a hill right by a pastel neighborhood full of nosey white people. It gave a little bit of an Addams family meets Cat in the Hat sort of vibe.
It's sweet but it's also a little dark and has sad moments. I enjoyed it.
I enjoyed this quite a bit! I see people calling it predictable, which is fair, but fairytales are sort of like that. Just because we all know how Beauty and the Beast ends, that doesn't mean we don't like to listen to the story. This fairytale had a strong female character that didn't feel forced or written poorly. She was smart, beautiful, and strong, and had a good heart. The level of loving sisterhood in this movie was wonderful.

Holy soundtrack, it's epic. I love Baby and his story. I'm not typically one for an action flick, but this one has heart, and there's more going on than stunts, although they are very cool. Glad I finally got around to watching it.
