It's an okay film, but not one I'd watch again. Its really dated and made me grimace from time to time. Meryl Streep IS giving it her all though and is the best so that's why I gave it an extra half a star. She is gorgeous, she is hilarious, she is the moment!
No wonder she went on to do Death Becomes Her, she rocked the man-stealing mistress trope to its core... but who could resist Meryl? Also Ruth…

honestly delivered on what it was going to be. fun movie, especially for those who grew up with the games. jim henson's team knocked it out of the park as per usual with the practical effects!
could have been significantly improved with markiplier in the beginning though, which seems to be unanimous

man i really wanted to like this movie, and i was looking forward to it when i initially saw the first trailer. it did not live up to my mental expectations, in fact it turned around and did everything i WOULDN'T have wanted it to do.
it fell flat. and i just really, really didn't like lisa nor her zombie bf. there are plenty of other GOOD undead campy movies, i just wish this could've been added to the list of good ones too
