Much Ado About Nothing 2012
I find this version understated, many of the comedic lines missed or underplayed, a bit too sombre - I don't think I laughed out loud once, just perhaps a little chuckle here and there. The Great Mouse Detective 1986
Despite quite enjoying the main characters, this one fell flat for me. The backgrounds are washed out and unmoving, the setting and its music is inconsistent (a '20s speakeasy in the middle of Victorian London?!), and it just ended up feeling like uninteresting shenanigans.
