Mad Max: Fury Road 2015

I was pleasantly engaged for an action movie. I particularly enjoy apocalyptic or post apocalyptic media because it guides us through our current societal dynamics at an extreme, ultimately teaching a lesson in some form, right? Mad Max Fury Road plays on barren earth, lack of water, animalistic drive for sex, and a weird spin on (dare i say) religion and power. It fell a bit flat with actual story telling content/ substance. I would’ve loved to hate the villain…
