  Absolute mastery of suspense.

  Takes its time to get going and introduce the characters, but knowing about them and their motivations makes the stakes feel much greater.

  Had me tensed up for like 40 minutes straight which is what I crave in a movie. 

  Throw this on and get your blood pumping.

  I had high expectations for this given it’s average rating on here and it blew them out of the water. 

  One of the best final acts I’ve seen in any movie. And one of the best horror (more of a thriller really) movies I’ve ever seen.

  It’s hard to compare this to other great horror/thriller films because it’s animated and the animation quality isn’t amazing but the story is just goddamn perfect.

  If you are, at minimum, able to tolerate anime, you absolutely must watch this.
