  This was just so tiresome. Eggers is good at vibes, but not much else, imo. Things picked up when Willem Dafoe entered the picture, but ultimately, this film felt empty. Extra half-star for that pipe though.

  I expected to love this, but I thought this was a mess. The plotting is very predictable, the love interests are vacuous, and this just did not have enough laughs. Loved Shiva Baby, but this was a major disapppintment.

Following
