Words cannot describe the emotions that I felt while watching this film in IMAX. I feel like I just witnessed history and I’m truly so grateful that I’m alive to have witnessed this film in the form that it was meant to be seen. We don’t deserve a director like Denis Villenueve this man understands sci-fi and he handles this film and this story with so much compassion and care for the source material. …
Yikes it’s really rare that a movie ruins my day. The film has a couple of cool shots here and there, but there really isn’t anything good about the film. Joaquin Phoenix’s performance isn’t nearly as good as the first. The musical numbers in the film aren’t good either, and the film has a musical number every couple of minutes. And another part of the film is a court drama, it builds up to something and then it ultimately falls flat. Then we reach the ending… the ending was very questionable to say the least.

Finally was able to watch this film and on the big screen!
Some of the shots this film has tickled my brain, the film is so beautiful and colorful. I also love how the film at some points is creepy. I think the film is really ahead of its time, it’s crazy to me that this film is 15 years old. Also the movie has so many bugs lmao.
But overall the film is amazing and it’s not only of the best stop motion films I’ve seen but also one of the best animated films I’ve seen!
