If you watch this like a silly avant garde comedy film with a simple and sweet message like it's meant to be watched it's actually wonderful. I get why people were annoyed by it but I think the reaction is way too strong! The characters are behaving Shakespearean. It's supposed to be odd- they're supposed to all be a lil crazy and that's reflected in their manner of speech constantly. Don't take it too seriously! It's fun! Shakespeare wrote comedies, too!
