Ethereal and nauseating, like vomiting up margaritas during a new order concert. Real hotline miami style shit. Everyone is perfectly casted, perfectly acted. One of the most immersive movies I've ever seen.

Completely unlike anything else I've ever seen. This movie left me with the same knot in my brain stem as my first viewing of 2001: A Space Odyssey, but for obviously different reasons. I'm a little disappointed how many other reviews seem to not understand the intentions behind the film and it's style, though I can't necessarily blame them.

A deeply uncomfortable, satisfying, and polished slasher movie. I couldn't disagree more with those who say it's a pretentious film. The main character is pretentious, but that's the point. He sees himself as a grand mastermind, a sophisticated and misunderstood artful mind. All of this is promptly and amusingly cut down by a narrator directly communicating with the protagonist, whom is recalling the events of his murderous life. It's quite a unique and captivating format.
