Completely unlike anything else I've ever seen. This movie left me with the same knot in my brain stem as my first viewing of 2001: A Space Odyssey, but for obviously different reasons. I'm a little disappointed how many other reviews seem to not understand the intentions behind the film and it's style, though I can't necessarily blame them.

A deeply uncomfortable, satisfying, and polished slasher movie. I couldn't disagree more with those who say it's a pretentious film. The main character is pretentious, but that's the point. He sees himself as a grand mastermind, a sophisticated and misunderstood artful mind. All of this is promptly and amusingly cut down by a narrator directly communicating with the protagonist, whom is recalling the events of his murderous life. It's quite a unique and captivating format.
