I never watched the movie with anne hatheway from 2011, so this storyline was completely new to me when I watched this series. It completely crushed me, to say the least. I related a lot with Emma’s character, but this show was Dexter’s story. The whole message of we really never have “enough” time in our lives. One day we will be at a certain age, another day we will be different. It shows us the important of living in the now and to not take anything for granted.
