  oh wow. loved this and immediately bought it on criterion blu-ray LOL. i didn’t know what to expect and this kept me completely entertained. a fantastic noir-style story about motherhood and the lengths you go for the people you love. joan was so incredible in this - as was ann bluth whose character, Veda, lands at the very top right corner of the hot/crazy scale. also Ida is a lesbian

  the opening scenes in every movie are always such a fun indicator of what’s leading tv/movie culture at the time. like i completely forget and then i watch this and im like omg pretty little liars, friday night lights, true blood !

  people really HATE this movie on here but i don’t care i’ll never stop loving it !!!! i get stressed watching it with other people because i know the second half can feel slow and i worry they’re bored but i can watch it alone over and over and never get sick of it. I’m not sure what it is about it. I love the singing and the music and the intertwined stories and I spent like 4 days reading…

  i love euphoria and was so excited for this but unfortunately found myself disappointed. i understand why they had to make the episode like this because of the pandemic but it absolutely did not need to be this long. started out really strong but then started getting so repetitive and i couldn’t stay engaged because it felt like they were just talking in circles. (also nothing they talked about felt new or groundbreaking in any way. sorry !) patiently awaiting season 2 tho .. sigh
