First of all, half the movie was so fucking dim it made my eyes hurt. Granted I watched this on an iPhone, but even at full brightness it was so hard to see.
Second of all, I don’t care what anyone else says Zoe Saldaña dropped a mother bomb with that performance I’m so serious. Karla Sofia Gascón was good too. Selena Gomez was also on screen sometimes.
Third, I’m conflicted because I feel like it would’ve been better if…
I can’t believe millennials lose their minds over this movie. Was the cerulean monologue iconic? Absolutely, however, the rest of the movie was forgettable. I felt like I was being gaslit into thinking Andy became a completely different person when all she did was dress for the job she had so her boss would take her seriously?? I would’ve prioritized work over those shitty friends too if I were Andy.
