I’m too lazy to rewatch everything just for a review.
I’ll get to it eventually.

A film that plays like a novel. Phenomenal soundtrack choice and impeccably raw, unfiltered storytelling.

Easy to follow plot, yet it’s not that solid in terms of story progression.  Plot twists and some characters appear as if they’re pulling a rabbit out of a hat just to fill an empty scene forcefully for the film to go forward.  Although it’s not completely uncreative, some scenes are intense enough to wonder how will the protagonist survive this one?  Only to be let down as it is followed by the most outlandish sequence of events.  The main actor and his on screen girlfriend seems to have little to no chemistry as well.

ASAC Schrader was cool af doe🔥

“If you’re going through hell, keep going”
This film encapsulates the struggle for survival in an easy, yet bitter, pill to swallow.  It touches upon the worst aspects of humanity as the main character, Julio, experiences various characters, each with their own “snake” on their shoulders waiting to claim yet another victim.  Chasing the love of his life, Julio finds himself in a concrete jungle, unprepared in what might be lurking behind dark corners.  The screenplay excels in its realism…
