Trainspotting 1996
A film that plays like a novel. Phenomenal soundtrack choice and impeccably raw, unfiltered storytelling.

Carry-On 2024
Easy to follow plot, yet it’s not that solid in terms of story progression. Plot twists and some characters appear as if they’re pulling a rabbit out of a hat just to fill an empty scene forcefully for the film to go forward. Although it’s not completely uncreative, some scenes are intense enough to wonder how will the protagonist survive this one? Only to be let down as it is followed by the most outlandish sequence of events. The main actor and his on screen girlfriend seems to have little to no chemistry as well.

Chasing the love of his life, Julio finds himself in a concrete jungle, unprepared in what might be lurking behind dark corners. The screenplay excels in its realism…Translated from by
