Videodrome 1983
Such a subtle and interesting film, and tragically underrated.
It's ideas regarding the media and how desensitization leads us to dangerous places are just a couple of themes I found interesting in this. But my favorite is how a person can take back control of themselves in a world where they are motivated by and controlled by media.
The performances are good across the board, though some dialogue could've benefited from a rewrite or two. Still, it feels like a film ahead of it's time and it acts as a somewhat precursor to what we now know as analog horror.

Godzilla vs. Destoroyah 1995
Such an iconic film in film history, it's not my favorite Toho Godzilla film, but man it is up there. Please see this, it's more heartbreaking than you'd realize.

The Elephant Man 1980
I think this film speaks for itself more beautifully than I'll ever be able to describe it. By far Lynch's most compassionate film in regards to it's main character, although I'm a bit troubled in the interpretation of the opening scene.
That isn't anywhere near enough for me to call this film bad though, it's a masterpiece through and through.
Also cried like 4 times lol.
