As always Shyamalan does his usual: two bland and kind of weird written movies followed by a hidden gem. Sadly Trap was not the hidden gem.
Indeed Shyamalan's ideas are always innovative, and in a stale field like thriller/horror genre it's an admiring quality.

It's nothing as a bad movie, don't get me wrong, the tension building is great and some shots are beautifully filmed, but oh how do I wish he spent more time writing believable turns of events.…

Ohh yeah how I love buttery sexual assaults going unnoticed on set and getting distributed in the whole world as a majestic piece of cinema.

A film that recognize the real meaning of being human, of simply being. The need of others, an anguished brotherhood tale that…

I bursted into tears after it ended. What Spielberg did was pure magic.

It was not the perfect film, the most polished work of media I've seen. It was slow, even washy sometimes. The plot was never explicitated in a conforming way, like okay now we're going crazy and going to find the big rock. The big rock hunting crusade.
The end comes too fast, like a surprise that you already knew was coming but it took too long to…
